
As many of you are aware, the Griffin home, located at 611 Brewer street in Marshall, Michigan has been for sale for quite awhile. Their asking price is $230,000. What they have not told people is that it has been for sale due to their debts and financial negligence. Their business, Play Care Learning Center, has been struggling financially because of their poor business decisions and failure to put the needs of the children before their own desires. I heard from a little bird that they have been recieving collection notices for overdue bills all year long. Within 2 minutes of searching public files on the internet, I found information that confirms they are delinquent on their bills. I understand that there are friends of the Griffins reading this blog (or possibly the Griffins pretending to have friends?) that are every bit as dumb as 10 miles of picket fence. Hi Sherry! For those people, I will explain what you are about to see. The property taxes, primary mortgage insurance and hazard insurance costs are usually added into the monthly mortgage payment when a person has a mortgage on a home. These additional funds, after the principal and interest are paid, are put into escrow and the lender takes care of paying the property taxes, hazard insurance and PMI on behalf of the homeowner. You are about to see proof that Robert Clyde Griffin and JoAnn Louise Griffin are delinquent on their City of Marshall property taxes. This means that they are not keeping up with their monthly mortgage payments and explains why their home is for sale. JoAnn Griffin has said that we are the "scumbags", yet we pay our bills on time and live within our means. We don't owe more money on our properties than they are worth, as the Griffins do. Look at the S.E.V. on that house. Look at what they originally paid for it. $230,000 is a ridiculous price to ask for that house! They might find a buyer to pay $160,000 in this market, if they find a moron. How does it feel to fail? Ha Ha!!!
